A good scarce example of the 1821 Pattern, with curved pipe-back blade. Burnished steel regulation ÔhoneysuckleÕ guard enclosing a shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in its burnished steel scabbard, mounted with two loose rings. The overall condition is good, the blade has been polished and the etched panels are faint, possibly William IV period.
