Royal Marines George IV OfficerÕs ÒRegencyÓ shako plate circa 1821-30.
A very fine rare die-stamped gilt example. Domed rope edged disc surmounted by the Royal crest; mounted on the disc a pierced scroll ÒRoyal MarinesÓ, centrally a silver fouled anchor resting in a gilt laurel wreath. Two loops to reverse. Slight service wear and small fracture between orb and cross otherwise VGC (KK 1084B)
