King’s Shropshire Light Infantry Victorian post 1882 Officer’s forage cap star. A fine example comprising a cut silvered eight pointed star mounted with gilt circlet inscribed ‘Shropshire’. To the centre, a silver strung bugle with gilt ‘KLI’ lodged between the cords, all set on a green enamel ground (small chip) . Two loops to reverse replaced with bar otherwise generally VGC.
