Welsh. 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot Victorian OR’s circular glengarry badge circa 1874-81. A fine and scarce die-stamped silver on copper example. Superimposed on a circlet inscribed ‘2nd Warwickshire’, a Sphinx on ‘Egypt’ tablet over ‘XXIV’. Original pin replaced with copper loops North and South. VGC (KK 459) Became South Wales Borderers on Friday 1st July, 1881.
