WORLD WAR I - MUNITIONS FACTORY Munition Work Record. The Falkirk Iron Coy, Ltd, 1915-1918, 56 GELATIN SILVER PRINTS (150 x 105mm.) mounted one per page on thick card, each with name of product and process depicted, original half morocco, titled in gilt on upper cover, spine detached with some loss to extremities, oblong 4to (225 x 255mm.), [c.1918] Footnotes: A good album of photographs of the interior of a large Scottish munitions factory depicting the workers (34 images include female workers) at every stage of production during the first world war. Products include some 2.5 million grenades, howitzer bombs, chemical and other shells, etc. Provenance: Miss J. W. Alexander, Falkirk, inscription with address inside upper cover, with a photo postcard depicting a group of factory employees in service for '50 years and upwards' in August 1918. Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
