Various Artists Collection of David Bowie Prints The London Police All Hail Sir David of Bowie, 2013, signed and inscribed 'AP 4/8' in pencil, an artist's proof aside from the edition of 50; Rugman David Bowie, 2014, signed, dated and numbered 2/50 in pencil; Genevieve Gauckler David Bowie/Daft Punk, signed and numbered 9/25 in pencil; Zoobs Ashes to Ashes, 2013, signed and inscribed AP in pencil, an artist's proof aside from the edition of seven three screenprints and one giclée print in colours 105 x 72cm (41 5/16 x 28 3/8in)(and smaller)(4). Footnotes: 'In 2017 I published my second book on Bowie, A Life, and it received so much attention, that I started being inundated with people wanting to connect, mainly because they wanted to ask me various questions about him, wanting to know what he felt about particular issues (I always replied saying I wouldn't be so audacious to speak on his behalf, and so I had no idea). I was also sent dozens of Bowie artefacts, paintings and prints, and spent a ridiculous amount of time and money buying my own. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
