AN UNUSUAL CLOISONNÉ-ENAMEL GINBARI (STAMPED SILVER FOIL) BOWL AND COVER WITH EN-SUITE MATCHING STAND Taisho (1912-1926) or Showa (1926-1989) era, 20th century Boldy worked in gilt wire with of varying gauge, the bowl with a confronting dragon and ho-o bird, the matching cover with a dragon and ho-o bird flanking a Western white vessel surrounded by a floral wreath, surmounted by a round knop similarly adorned with a dragon, the removable, matching stem stand with two chasing dragons, the features picked out from the silver-hued body and defined in translucent coloured enamels reserved on a turquoise blue ground with a granulated pattern, unsigned; with an unrelated separate wood stand. 28cm x 21cm (11in x 8¼in).
