A RARE DOUCAI 'BAGUA' BOWL Qianlong seal mark and of the period The exterior typically painted in underglaze-blue outlines and enamelled in soft tones with the Eight Trigrams, bagua, within roundels, alternating with stylised cloud scrolls and fish leaping from waves, all beneath a meandering ruyi border, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a front-facing five-clawed dragon. 19.5cm (7 5/8in) diam.
