The mace with cylindrical shaft surmounted by an ox head with curved horns and elongated ears, the head decorated in silver overlay with vegetal scrollwork and inscriptions (possibly 'Sultan ibn al-Sultan Fath 'Ali'). The bazuband engraved and decorated in gold overlay with battle scenes and vegetal motifs. The dagger with horn hilt and etched inscriptions to blade.
