Auguste Francotte 12 Gauge Side By Side Shotgun, early 20th century. Serial number 30724, 28 in. Damascus barrels with extractors, and textured rib, the top of the barrels marked 'VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD' and 'U.S. AGENTS, NEW-YORK'; foliate scroll engraved frame marked 'A. FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE/LIEGE BELGIUM'; walnut stock with extended butt, checkered panel behind the lock and checkered pistol grip wrist. Length of pull 14 1/4, overall lg. 44 3/8 in. Chamber 2 3/4 in. Minimum left barrel wall thickness .024 in. Minimum right barrel wall thickness .029 in. Left choke .698 in. Right choke .725 in **Successful bidder must arrange pickup/transfer through a federal firearms licensee.** Condition: Barrels retain strong Damascus patterning, have minor wear at the muzzles and a few small spots of oxidation; stock has scattered dings and dents; action functions properly.
