Brass and Iron Fireplace Garniture, 19th century and later. The Federal andirons with ribbed oval and spindle finial cast together on pedestal base, mounted on double-column pillar open at rear to receive straight wrought iron billet bars brass-covered to the urn-form log stops, raised in front by spurred cabriole legs on arris pad feet, together with period ball-top fire shovel and tongs, and one 20th-century three-part wire mesh fire screen with urn finials surmounting hinged brass rails, (andiron) wd. 10 3/4, dp. 18, ht. 17 1/4 in.
