A COLLECTION OF SEVEN SNUFF BOTTLES One signed Wang Xisan (1938-), cyclically dated renyi year, corresponding to 1962 and of the period, two signed Bi Rongjiu (1874-1925), cyclically dated gengzi and guimao years, corresponding to 1900 and 1903 and of the period Comprising: a cinnabar lacquer 'boys' snuff bottle, with matching cover, the base and rims gilt, the base with incised Qianlong four-character mark, attributed to the Imperial workshops; an inside-painted 'butterflies' agate snuff bottle, signed Wang Xisan (1938-), dated renyi year (1962); an inside-painted glass signed Bi Rongjiu (1874-1925), with a mountain scene on one side and figures to the reverse, dated gengzi year (1900); an inside-painted red overlay glass 'crane and horses' snuff bottle by Bi Rongjiu (1874-1925), dated guimao year (1903), stopper; a painted enamel yellow-ground snuff bottle, painted with European-figures; a rock crystal lotus pond snuff bottle, stopper; a green quartz snuff bottle, with matching stopper. 7cm (2 3/4 in) high (11).
