[SALM-REIFFERSCHEIDT-DYCK (JOSEPH FURST VON) Monographia generum aloes et Mesembryanthemi], Mesbryanthemorum sections only, 215 lithographed plates (one double-page), all partially hand-coloured, some spotting or small stains, without titles, early morocco-backed marbled boards, spine lettered in gilt [Nissen BBI 1720; Great Flower Books, p. 74], folio (335 x 235mm.), [Dusseldorf-Bonn, 1836-1863], sold not subject to return Footnotes: Rare and important work on succulents, originally published in 7 fascicules. This copy includes only the parts, and plates, devoted to the Mesembryanthemum, a genus of flowering plants in the family Aizoaceae, indigenous to southern Africa. This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: • • Zero rated for VAT, no VAT will be added to the Hammer Price or the Buyer's Premium.
