Fougt, 1773 Footnotes: First edition of Captain Ekeberg's narrative of his East India Company voyage to Canton, with observations on Whampoa, Hainan and the Cape of Good Hope. The author was 'a friend of Linnaeus, whom he provided with much material from his voyages' (Lowendahl). Provenance: Katrin and Herbert Jacobsson, bookplate; Ruth and Walter Middleman, blind-stamp on front free endpaper.
