A late 19th/early 20th century brass lantern clock in the late 17th century style, the typical case with turned columns to the corners with foliate knopped finials, applied with three foliate scrolling crestings to the front and sides, the strapped bell with corresponding foliate knopped finial, the 5.5' silvered Roman chapter ring with outer Arabic five minute track, the corners with winged putto mask head mounts, the matted centre with black painted steel hands, the side doors with sunburst mask applied mounts on baluster knopped feet, the brass four pillar twin train movement with anchor escapement additionally striking on an internal bell, with pendulum and winder, 42cm high This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: * * VAT on imported items at a preferential rate of 5% on Hammer Price and the prevailing rate on Buyer's Premium.
