Cardini sent the case with a transistor radio and other contents to Billy and June McComb in 1957. A maunuscript list of props is pasted to the top along with painted initials R.C.P. These are the initials of his real name Richard Valentine Pitchford with C for Cardini substituted for the middle V.(2)
