Against Women/In Defence of Woman,GCP 1953; In Defence of Woman by Wiliam [sic] Cynwal, 1960, numbers 59 & 9 of 100 specially-bound copies with an extra engraving, from editions limited to 350 & 500 respectively, the first signed by the translator and artist, wood-engraved titles and full-page illustrations by John Petts printed in colours, first with bookplate of Cornelius Hanck on front pastedown, original pictorial purple lizardskin or blue morocco respectively, gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe or Hiscox, t.e.g., others uncut, the second with slightly faded spine and slip-case, 8vo, Golden Cockerel Press(2) ***"I had such fun with this book! [Against Women]. It was a mad sixteenth century Welshman`s idea of how wicked women are..." Cock-a-Hoop.
