BRITISH COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, Great Britain, George III, Christian VII (1749-1766-1808), Visit to England, Silver Medal, 1768, by John Westwood, bust left wearing Sash and Star of Order, rev legend in ten lines, detailing his marriage, 37mm (BHM 130, R3). Nearly very fine and extremely rare. Christian VII had married George III’s sister, Princess Caroline Matilda, in 1766 (see also lot 1439)
