INDIAN COINS, Ancient Coinage, Kosala Janapada (c.500-400 BC), Silver Vimshatika (2), heavy series, 3.96g, unusual double-obverse, a pair of geometrical whirls and flowers on one side (as Paul Murphy, Kosala State Region Silver Punch Marked Coins 5, I.3.1.1) and a geometrical whirl, Star of David and two boat-like marks on the other side (see Murphy G 24.3), and 4.04g, with only single obverse. Very fine and extremely rare. (2)
