British Coins, England, George III, Restrike Pattern Halfpenny, 1797, struck in silver on a thick 3mm flan, 21.49g, small laureate and draped bust right, two berries in wreath with indistinct details, double cut K on shoulder, legend incuse on raised rim, georgius iii.d:g.rex., rev struck en medaille, Britannia seated left on rock with shield, holding trident and olive branch, ship to left, double cut soho and \ on rock to right, waves below, date on raised rim below, Britannia. above, edge plain (Peck 1163 R60). Attractively toned, as struck and very rare.
