British Coins, England, George II, Proof Halfpenny, 1729, struck in silver, young laureate and cuirassed bust left, no stop in legend, georgivs ii.rex., toothed border both sides, rev inverted die axis, Britannia seated left on globe, with shield, spear and spray of leaves, britan nia., date in exergue, edge plain striated (Peck 834; S 3717).
