Feibusch, Hans (1898 Frankfurt/M.-1998 London) - The fish pond, oil on canvas, painted monogram HF and date [19] 32 lower right, ca.70x100cm, with framing, canvas partly loose bulged, frame abrasions, canvas punctured lower right (D.c.1cm) - Hans Feibusch emigrated to England in 1933, having been previously expelled from the ''Frankfurter Künstlerbund'' as a Jew.His work was banned as ''Entartete Kunst/Degenerate Art'' and included in the 1937 Munich Exhibition.In England he was considered the most prolific specialist in mural painting in churche(Examples for his large-scale murals are in Chichester Cathedral and many parish churches in the south of England)
