White attended Cornell University before pursuing a career in journalism. He worked for the United Press and theSeattle Times before finding a position with The New Yorker magazine, where he stayed for the rest of his career. In addition to his day job, White took on additional projects, including writing his own successful books for young readers, such as “Stuart Little”, “Charlotte’s Web”, and “The Trumpet of the Swan”. During his lifetime, White was awarded the National Medal for Literature.

Wear and scuffing to covers, with bumping to corners, paper loss to each. The spine has bumping at heading and foot. Minor soiling to page edges not affecting the text block. In overall very good condition.
