Postage & Shipping

We understand that it is not always possible to be at the sale or to collect your winning lots in person, therefore Atkins Auctions Ltd offer a packing and postal service. We are not professional packers or shippers but we will endeavour to pack your item as carefully and as responsibly as possible to ensure that your parcel makes a safe onward journey. We use specialist packing supplies and use only reputable services. We begin shipping items out seven days after the auction. If you do wish to receive them sooner, you are welcome to contact a courier.

 We offer a packing service for smaller items such as jewellery, watches, small ceramics, coins, medals and small collectables to UK addresses. All parcels are sent using high quality packaging materials and are insured via Royal Mail Special Delivery

Items are sent at earliest a week following the sale and anything up to 2 weeks and cannot be guaranteed for a specific date.

Whilst we aim to assist our clients and make our service as economically viable for buyers as possible, please note the posting of items is entirely at our discretion.

We carry 7 different size of box in stock to ensure safe packing of a variety of items, however if your item is either too large or too heavy to fit in any of these boxes then you will need to organise alternative arrangements.

When the invoice including postage has been paid in full, your paperwork will be sent to our postage team who will pack the lot(s) and book the parcel in with ParcelForce/Royal Mail. We begin shipping parcels 7 days after the auction. 

Postage costs outside of UK Mainland

Please be aware that as the UK has now left the EU, anyone purchasing from outside the UK may be charged customs and VAT duties as their items enter their own country. These duties are set by the government of each country and are outside our control.
