9-3/4"T x 1-1/8"D Of round shape with scalloped rim, smooth center with silver 1856 coin embedded in the center, depicting Wilhelm Herzog of Braunschweig u Luneburg; raised on three bun feet. Marked on the rim as follows, stamped: in square "A/ 12/" for 750 silver purity, and "Stadt" in rectangle. Marked on reverse, etched: "Freiherr Alexander von Mausberg."
Embedded coin with profile on front and laurel leave and crest on back dated 1856."
