Born in 1984 in London, Alice graduated from Byam Shaw School of Art, Central St. Martins in 2007 with a BA in Fine Art. She wrote and illustrated her own edition of Aesopās Fables, published in 2009 by Pavilion Childrenās Books, Anova Books. From 2009-2011 Alice studied drawing at the Princeās Drawing School. She wrote and illustrated her second book for children, The Gentle Lion and the Little Owlet (published in 2012). Since 2010 Alice has worked with the specimen collection of the Natural History Museum in London to develop her Sea Monsters series. Since 2012 Alice has been creating textile, ceramic and enamel designs for the fashion house HermĆØs Paris. Alice lives and works in London. She is a former Wates Foundation Diana Brooks Prize winner and this year is curating the Alice Shirley Project Space for Art for Youth London.

The buyer of the artwork is responsible for the collection and/or delivery costs of artwork. If they are not present at the live auction the UK Youth Events Team will contact them after the auction to arrange payment and collection.
