Sheehan was in his 20’s some of these b&w images were taken, young but already aware of patterns and abstraction. Uniform in size and format, some mounts smaller.  Condition varies but generally acceptable or better.  

 Lot of work by Robert F. SHEEHAN (1922-1969)

1.  Horror from the 19th century (1947) 

2. Untitled. Street scene. Glue stain where label had been.

3. & 4: Untitled. Winter scene. Glue stain where label had been./ Urban Street (1946)

5. Untitled (apartment building), pencil date on back “11 Jan.’49”, with a large “A” in upper corner and photographer’s mailing label (Scarsdale, N.Y.)

6. Untitled.  Shack with fence. Image loose from mount at one corner, damage along the edge.

7. Untitled. Boys near water. “A” on back.

8. Untitled. Modern windows.

9. Untitled. Fire damaged city scene.  “B” on back with Gammadion Film and address labels, Untitled. Street scene. Glue stain where label had been..

10. Untitled. Man at top of steps. Faded. 

11. Untitled. Wet street scene. “B” on back with pencil date, “11 Jan. ‘49.”

12.  Maximum focal range, third reworking 1947 February. Gammadion Film and address labels on back, Scarsdale.

13.  Portrait, James Hobson (San Pedro, CAL. October 1947 )

14. Setting with figure. 1947, November. Curious Gammadion stamp on back. Board worn at corners.

15. The former Nancy Weller / At Nautilus Club, Summer 1947. Signed on back. Image spotted, board soiled.

Images are good to vg, mounted by the artist to boards and matted.  Boards worn at edges and corners. Some scuffing. See images.
