Interesting texts, plus a large section of black and white aviation photographs, at the end of the book. Head and heel are slightly rubbed. Previous owner’s inscription on the front pastedown also has small dirt marks on the front/rear endpapers.
The binding and the book are in good condition.
This book spans the first 50 years of British commercial aviation, from the early pioneering flights by a handful of converted 1918 warplanes and their pilots through the great days of Imperial airways, which blazed new airline trails across Europe to the Middle East and Australia and west ward to the Americas.
