Loyal Little Natal is an attempt to bring to light several lesser known aspects of life in early Natal; to capture in words and line drawings the spirit of that bygone era. The author has relied heavily upon personal interviews and unpublished manuscript material and would therefore like to express appreciation for the helpfulness of so many people who contributed information and advice.
At times the need arose to reconcile partially conflicting accounts of a single incident; in such cases due care was taken not to tamper with facts on hand.
Heartfelt thanks go to the staff of the Natal Archives Depot, the Natal Society Library and the Killie Campbell Africana Library for their readiness to be of assistance at all times.
Large paperback format with 102 pages text, maps, drawings and maps, with data and information.
