Tan cloth-boards, gilt and black lettering and 3-colour vignetted design to the upper panel and gilt and black lettering, design and rules to the spine, gold-and-black head-and-tail-bands, all page-edges gilt, tan patterned endpapers, inserted frontispiece with tissue guard and photographic portraits of Generals De Wet, Botha and De la Rey, pictorial title-page, x pp of prelims, including contents pages, plus 576 pp of text printed in black with red text rules and numerous decorative and photographic half-tones, plus 6-fold colour map at the back. 


CONDITION. This is a complete and excellent copy, with well-repaired binding (see image).
