appear at the text accompanying plates 49 to 53 at the back of the volume. 


Lawrence is also mentioned by name within the text, opp. pl. 48 line 19


and opp. pl. 51 line 25. He would later and most famously tell the full tale


of his role and perspective in the Arab revolt in Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
