Large Folio, + - 200 pages unnumbered, also supplied with cream cloth board Slipcase. Full black morocco binding, lavishly gilt on spine and front and back boards. Top edges gilt, marbled endpapers.


This is a collection of photographs of authentic productions of the model makers Art of that period. Fifty models are illustrated and fully annotated by the author.


Only 1000 copies were printed and bound in cloth boards. This is a presentation copy bound by Bayntun of Bath and is truly a tour de force of the bookbinder’s art.
