by Mhlangane Dingane and Mbopa on 22 September 1828 at Dukuza by which act the Zulu Nation first lost its empire. A portfolio of 43 original woodcuts with text by Stephen Gray.


Unpaginated, 43 coloured woodcuts, the captions are printed on separate sheets, oatmeal textured cloth boards with dark brown vignette on the upper cover and has a small mark at the bottom of this cover, a vey good copy housed in a matching slipcase which is slightly soiled and worn.


This Limited de luxe edition contains an original woodcut by the artist and is no 180 of 250 copies signed by the artist and the poet.
