George Orwell HOMAGE TO CATALONIA The scarce first edition lacking the dustwrapper of this title
The scarce first edition lacking the dustwrapper of this title recalling Orwell's experiences in the Spanish Civil War. 314pp. One of the small printing of 1250 copies only.
A very clean copy in the original green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. The cloth is unworn but has some light age soiling. The owner has for some reason rubber stamped his name three times on the front free endpaper. These rubber stamps are faint, not unsightly and probably erasable. Apart from this there are no other markings and no sign of foxing whatsoever.
