Lot of 21 large Black & White negatives (17.5 x 6cm) of South African scenery, taken c1905. Five are of the Bloemfontein town square. Other negatives include images of a Rice-type Anglo-Boer War blockhouse, ships, a farm, coastal town, majestic colonial buildings and general scenery in the Cape Colony.
The negatives are in very good condition.This set comes with the original chemist envelope - Heynes, Mathew & Co, Bloemfontein.
