Original vintage propaganda poster - Two Sides of An Exciting Life Join the W.R.A.C Women's Royal Army Corps - featuring a great illustration of female soldiers in green military uniform, one waving in front of a large gun above and the others walking down a street with people wearing colourful robes sheltering under the canopy from the sun, with the text running diagonally through the images and below. Formed in 1949 to replace the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS; 1938-1949), the Women's Royal Army Corps (WRAC; 1949-1992) was a regular army corps for women serving in the British Army after World War Two. Printed for HM Stationary Office by Fosh Cross Ltd, London. Good condition, restored folds, restored creases, restored paper losses, staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: UK , designer: Unknown, size (cm): 76x51, year of printing: 1950s.
