Englische Konigsfamilie featuring portraits of King George V, Queen Mary, Prince Albert, Prince Edward, Prince Henry, Prince George, Princess Mary, and Prince John, decorated with oak tree leaves, Union Jack flags and Coat of arms of the United Kingdom. Good condition, creasing, tears on edges, crease marks. Country of issue: Germany, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 42x32, year of printing: 1910s; 2. King George VI by Hay Wrightson depicting King George in naval uniform. George VI (born Albert Frederick Arthur George; 1895-1952) was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from 1936 until his death in February 1952. Good condition, creasing, staining. Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon married the Duke of York in 1923. She became Queen Elizabeth when her husband was crowned King George VI in 1937. On the King's death in 1952 she became known as the Queen Mother and her elder daughter became Queen Elizabeth II. She was the first member of the British Royal Family to pass the age of 100.
