World War One recruitment poster - Britain Needs You At Once - from the original held by the Imperial War Museum, depicting St George in armour on horseback facing driving his lance into the body of a winged dragon, with bold green lettering above and below the image. Printed for Her Majesty's Stationery Office by Hydrographic Dept Good condition, creasing, tears, pinholes Country of issue: UK, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 75x51, year of printing: 1970s; 2. Andrews Liver Salt poster featuring an illustration of a gentleman standing over an open suitcase and scratching his head with shoes, clothes and other items scattered on the floor, with a package of Andews Liver Salt sticking from his back pocket, the caption below reads - I must have left it behind! - First sold in 1894, Andrews Liver Salts is a laxative and antacid for mild stomach complaints. Reproduced from the original Andrews poster first published in 1925. Good condition, tears, creasing, small paper loss on top right corner, staining. Country of issue: UK, designer: John Hassall, size (cm): 50x33, year of printing: 1970s; 3. The Sport of Kings poster, a racing comedy play by Ian Hay from the Savoy Theatre in London, featuring a fun illustration by an English illustrator and poster artist John Hassal (1868-1948) depicting a boy peeking from behind a letter box at the police officer as he slips a supposedly blind man a betting slip, with ladies looking at them from the window.
