Tuberculosis / TB is a highly infectious disease that is prevented and controlled by the BCG vaccine (first used medically in 1921); the World Health Organisation WHO recommends the vaccine is given to children as part of their immunisation programme. Good condition, restored tears, restored pinholes, light staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: USA, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 28x22, year of printing: 1940s.
