Original vintage Second World War propaganda poster isued as part of Nazi propaganda in occupied Serbia. The poster commemorates victims of the Vinnytsia massacre during The Great Purge of 1936–1938 conducted by Joseph Stalin and NKVD People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs. The design features an image of a careless-looking man with a cigarette in his mouth and a red star on his hat holding a smoking pistol and a falling lifeless body of a child, with the name of the city in blood red above him, photographs of mass graves below, the text in Serbian reads - Vinica Mass grave of Ukrainian workers and peasants. In the mass graves of Vinica, especially many children's corpses were found. Fair condition, folds, creasing, tears, staining, browning. Country of issue: Serbia, designer: unknown, size (cm): 61x42, year of printing: 1940s.
