Set of six prints on various subjects. 1. The Ferry Boat Before the Wind by a Dutch painter Simon de Vlieger (c.1601-1653) depicting men braving the waves and the wind on a sailboat. Printed by UDO. Published by Her Majesty’s Stationery Office for National Maritime Museum. Good condition, foxing, staining, creasing. Country of issue: UK, designer: Simon J de Vlieger, size (cm): 76x51, year of printing: 1979; 2. The Royal Navy dedicated to Admiral Sir Thomas Sabine Pasley Baronet Captain HS Hillyar CB and the Officers of HMS The Royal Oak, the poster features an illustration The Royal Navy (after Orlando Norie and T.G. Dutton) by William Summers, depicting navy sailors on the deck of a ship with the flag of England on the mast. Horizontal. Very good condition, minor creasing, minor staining. Country of issue: UK, designer: William Summers, size (cm): 51x70, year of printing: 1984; 3. Marriage in High Life, featuring an illustration of a man pushing a rickshaw with a bride holding a flower bouquet and a parasol and ladies and gentlemen dressed in both traditional colourful African clothing and tuxedos with tall hats, with monkeys on the roof and palm tree tops. HMS Kelly was a K-class destroyer in the British Royal Navy, launched in 1938 she was commanded by Lord Louis Mountbatten until it sunk by Luftwaffe bombardment in 1941. The quote below the image by Mountbatten reads – To me she was quite unlike any other ship I served on… I knew and loved her from the time of her birth when her keel was laid until the keel was the last thing visible as she sank beneath the waves. Britten-Norman Trislander of Sunbird Charters featuring an image of the Trislander plane set on white background.
