Original vintage advertising poster for the travel agency, Cooks "Travel through the good offices of Cooks" featuring a mid-century modern design showing the hemispheres on a map of the world with the offices of Cooks marked as yellow dots. Thomas Cook (1808-1892) founded the travel agency in 1841, starting with excursions by train in the UK. The company, Thomas Cook & Son (widely known as Cook's Tours) was renamed Thomas Cook Group plc after a merger in 2007. Good condition, minor bumps and tears on margins. UK,1960s. Designer: Unknown.
