Group of 4 Original Travel Posters issued in the Nazi Germany by the advertising arm of State Railways - Reichsbahnzentrale für den Deutschen Reiseverkehr. The Reichsbahn Center for German Travel (RDV) was a company founded by the Deutsche Reichsbahn to promote tourism by train. The predecessor organization was the Reich Central Office for German Traffic Advertising e. V. (RDV), founded in April 1920 in Berlin. On April 30, 1928, it was transformed into the Reichsbahn headquarters for the German travel G. mb H. The sole shareholder was the German Reichsbahn. The abbreviation RDV and the logo with the impeller were retained after the name change. 1. Original vintage travel poster promoting The Binnenalster in Hamburg. Binnenalster or Inner Alster Lake is one of two artificial lakes within the city limits of Hamburg, Germany, which are formed by the river Alster. Design shows a photo of a sail boat sailing on the lake. Good condition, tears and creases at the bottom of the poster. Country:Germany, Year: 1930s, Size: 74x50cm; 2. Original vintage travel advertising poster for Hamburg. Photograph depicts Hamburg city hall, whuch is the seat of local government of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Germany. The title reads 'Hamburg - Germany, Deutschland, Allemagne - City Hall , Rauthaus, Dotel De'Ville' Good condition, some creasing. Country: Germany, Year: 1930s, Size (cm): 74x49; 3. Original vintage travel advertising poster for Deutschland - Die Marienburg de Ostpreussen. Translated as the Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork, it was built in the 13th century in Prussia and is currently located near the town of Malbork, Poland. It is the largest castle in the world measured by land area. Good condition, creasing and small tears in margin.Country: Germany Year: 1930s, Size (cm)74x50; 4. Original vintage travel poster promoting Schloss Neuschwanstein (Neuschwanstein Castle). Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. Good condition, pinholes in corners and foxing. Country: Germany Year: 1930s, Size (cm): 42x30
