A pair of Chinese ceramic Buddhist guardian lions, white glazed with black eyes, each modelled in a crouching position with a fierce expression, the male with his right paw resting on a ball, the females left paw on a cub, late Qing dynasty, 8cm high (2)
The tail of the female lion has been re-attached, the lower teeth of the male lion are missing their pointed ends. Both figures have residue on the paws where possibly removed from an original base
