A diamond brooch, circa 1860, modelled as a fleur-de-lys, set with a principle old brilliant-cut diamond to the surmount, with smaller old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds to the remainder of the mount. Mounted in silver and gold. Double pin fitting.
Accompanied with a letter from The Royal Palace Athens dated 10th July 194, stating that the brooch originally belonged to Queen Victoria, then her eldest daughter the Princess Royal from whom it passed to her daughter Queen Sophia of Greece and then to her eldest daughter the Queen Mother of Rumania.
