A late Georgian oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock the circular brass dial with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture inscribed "Torkington, Newcastle", the hood with flared cornice above a blind fret carved glazed panel door flanked by brass mounted fluted pilasters, the trunk with a single panel door and ornate brass lock escutcheon flanked by turned pilasters, raised on a later cut-away plinth base, 18.5in. x 83.5in. high.
