TUPAC SHAKUR LYRICS FOR "I AIN'T MAD AT CHA"Excellent set of handwritten working lyrics, featuring eight lines of the first full verse of the song "I Ain't Mad At Cha", executed in blue ink on a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of notebook paper. The lyrics presented here are a bit different from the final recorded version, in full: "We was once 2 brothaz of the same kind/Quick 2 approach a ghetto cutie with the same line/Member when u had a Jerri curl never quite learn/Drinkin 90 proof on the roof shippin off sherm/Left a message on my phone just got bailed/Wanna go 2 the mosque no time 4 femalez/Losin touch with my homie he's a changed man/Hit the pen & now no sinnin iz the game plan..." This track was released on Shakur's fourth album, "All Eyez on Me", and was recorded with soul artist Danny Boy as a collaborator. The track was recorded the day of his release from prison in 1996 (where these lyrics may well have been written). Minor chipping at the top edge, unsigned, else very good. With an original signed letter of provenance (which has been notarized with others) from the recipient of the lyrics who was given them directly by Tupac in 1995. The two had met while both were recording at Can-Am Studio in Tarzana. They soon became friends, and on one particular occasion, Tupac gave his friend and fellow rapper a group of his working lyrics as a gift.
