Great Britain, 1937 gold four coin specimen set, to include five pound, two pound, sovereign and half sovereign, housed in red Moroccan leather and gilt tooled case of issue. (1).Box is original and comes with original Spinks receipt (torn and slightly tatty).£5 – light scratch from BR through face to top of neck.£2 – scratch to hairline above ear, further small scratch below earlobe and hairline, small scratch to tip of nose, the reverse is good.Sovereign – light surface scratch to cheek and neck.Half sovereign – light scratch beside tip of nose and cheek.

At YOUR liability, we offer a fully tracked postage & packing service for small items within mainland UK and Europe. We use APC Couriers 24 hour tracked and signed for. Our standard mainland UK charge is £20 for up to 3 lots, and £2 per lot thereafter, regardless of weight (max.30kg). Some exclusions apply for larger lots such as dinner services, please contact our offices for a quote with regards to larger or bulkier lots.
If purchasers require insurance then they must arrange this themselves. Lacy Scott & Knight accept no liability for items which are damaged or lost during postage, and cannot and will not assist in any claims unless insurance cover has been taken out. Please give clear instructions when settling your account as to your shipping requirements so that we can process full payment and ship within 10 working days.
You can simply add the postage amount to your bank transfer or website payment.
Please note that Lacy Scott & Knight DO NOT accept any liability for loss or damage, however caused. Bids - bid live at the-saleroom.com, telephone or email bids to fineart@lsk.co.uk (include your full contact details, lot number and bid amount). Our minimum acceptable bid is £5. We can arrange telephone bids with notice for lots with a minimum estimate of £300.
Condition of lots - We generally do not state condition in the lot description. Before bidding, please ensure that you are satisfied with the condition of the lots. Condition reports are available by email but please note that these are statements of opintion only and not fact.
P&P - Parcels can be sent fto a UK address or £10 regardless of size or number of lots. Further insurance options are available. For overseas, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (info@mbemail.co.uk). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £5 per parcel.
