OPERA: A good small selection of four signed photographs by various opera singers, containing LEHMANN LOTTE (1888-1976) German Soprano. Her performances in the world of Lieder are considered among the best ever recorded. Two vintage signed postcard photographs by Lehmann, one inscribed, the images showing the German artist in different poses. Signed in bold black ink to clear areas of the images. Together with TOTI DAL MONTE (1893-1975), Antonietta Meneghel. Italian Soprano. Best remembered for her performances in Puccini´s opera Madama Butterfly. Signed vintage postcard photograph of Dal Monte, the image depicting the Italian soprano in costume, in a half length pose. Signed and dated in bold black ink to a clear area of the image. Also included EMANUEL LIST (1888-1967) Austrian-American opera Bass. Signed 3.5 x 4.5 photograph, the image showing a close-up profile portrait of List. Signed in dark ink across the image.
