An excellent unsigned 7.5 x 9.5 woodburytype print monochrome photograph of Baudelaire, the image being by Etienne Carjat (1828-1906), French photographer. The most famous portrait of the French poet corresponds to the “Galerie Contemporaine” edition, printed to the heading and matted white border. With a very small tear to the upper matted edge, and extremely small age wear, otherwise VG £600-900
